Project Oasis is executed under International Association for Human Values (IAHV). We are focused on developing self-sustained water resources for water desperate villages in India. By identifying strategic locations with scientific research and local expertise, we build check dams for the villages to ensure year-round availability of water sourced by rainwater harvesting technique. Our on-ground partner, Aakar Charitable Trust has built 350+ check dams and transformed lives of 400,000 people in and around Rajasthan.

International Association for Human Values was created in Geneva in 1997 by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar as a global platform for humanitarian initiatives that solve problems by uplifting human values. IAHV is registered as a 501(c)(3) in the United States. IAHV foster daily practice of human values – a sense of contentedness and respect for all people and the natural environment, an attitude of non-violence, and an ethic of social service. Through its country organizations and partners, IAHV conducts service projects and raises funds for humanitarian and disaster relief initiatives throughout the world.
